Jean-Marc Biard

Jean-Marc Biard was graduated as medical doctor in 1994 and as Ob-gyn in 1999 at the «Université catholique de Louvain» (UCL), Belgium. He directly joined the obstetric department of the «Saint Luc University Hospital» in Brussels where he currently works in the «Fetal Medicine Unit». His main research interests are fetal
lung development and pulmonary hypoplasia. He had the opportunity to join between 2000 and 2002 the» Centre for Surgical Technologies» in Leuven, Belgium and «The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia», USA to lead research projects under the supervision of respectively Pr Jan Deprest and Pr MP Johnson.
